In 1948, our family founders had one goal: to provide the best sales and service of commercial refrigeration equipment in Billings, Montana. We have since grown into a well-established company that strives towards uncompromising standards through dedicated customer care efforts. Brink Inc. has grown into a complete sales and service provider for commercial kitchens, providing reliable service in Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
Modern Refrigeration on Minnesota Ave.
Beginning in 1948, siblings Leon, Doc Brink, Doris Brown, and their spouses set out to provide customers in the Billings area quality commercial refrigeration service.
From its location on Minnesota Avenue, the family completed this goal. Offering steadfast services their customers could rely on.
Hobart Sales & Service: Eastern Montana
In 1969, second-generation owner Gary A. Brink sold Modern Refrigeration to concentrate primarily on the Food Retail and Food Service industries. He opened the Eastern Montana Hobart Sales & Service office. In doing so, we became one of the fastest-growing Hobart offices in the US, winning numerous "Topper" awards and furthering our service standards.
Service 1: Increasing our service
Service One was established in the early 2000s to provide further services to customers in Montana and Wyoming. The company began focusing again on how we could better our service, even expanding into commercial HVAC and bolstering the company's refrigeration abilities.

Third-generation owner Gary P. Brink purchased the company in 1998 and continues to provide Montana and Wyoming that award-winning level of service.
Gary P. Brink created Advanced Chemical Solutions (ACS) in 1993 to provide high-performance chemical products and services to food-serving establishments. Today, ACS serves hundreds of customers across the Northwest and Midwest.
In 2020, Gary P. Brink acquired the Hobart branch office in Rapid City, expanding Brink Inc.'s service capabilities to Western South Dakota and Northwest Nebraska.
